680 NewsRadio is looking for a full time breaking news field reporter to tell the most compelling stories in Toronto and the GTA !
680 NewsRadio is #1for breaking news in Toronto and we are looking for someone who can connect with our listeners on air and online! The news division of Rogers Sports and Media includes 680 NewsRadio, CityNews Toronto and OMNI TV – we work as one dynamic team to deliver the most up to date and trusted information. What You Will Do… You’ll be a full-time reporter working in the field and covering the biggest breaking news for 680 NewsRadio across the GTA You’ll cover a wide variety of news from breaking news stories, to politics at Queen’s Park and Parliament Hill to parades and celebrations across the region What You Will Bring…- People rely on 680 NewsRadio now more than ever, so we need a dependable, smart, news junkie who has between 3-5 years of experience in the field
- The successful candidate will have experience in a major market and knows how to cover all types of stories and generate original story ideas
- You have an excellent sense of direction and are familiar with the roads and highways of the GTA with a valid driver’s licence
- A desire to win 24-7
- You can roll with the speed and unpredictability of breaking news and thrive in an environment where no day is the same!
